Lazy it is a municipality of 258 inhabitants located at an altitude of 881 meters above sea level. The country fought alongside How during the ten-year war against Milan. During the period of the communes, a lookout tower was built, the remains of which were later demolished to make way for the construction of a new villa. Gian Giacomo de' Medici, on behalf of Francesco II Sforza, undertook to expel the French who had taken over the area, and in 1527 he finally succeeded in the undertaking.
It was also a fiefdom of several families, including that of the Rusconi, the Marliani and the Riva Andreotti. The municipality also took part in the insurrection against the Austrians which ended with the shooting of Andrea Brenta and the exile of Don Cavalli, parish priest of Lazy.
