USEFUL INFORMATION – Canyoning, or canyoning, consists of descending on foot water courses that flow inside narrow gorges deeply carved into the rock and characterized by reduced flow and steep slopes. Canyoning is experiencing the thrill of adventure in a wild environment, the fun of swimming, diving and sliding inside beautiful canyons smoothed by the water. In our area the torrents have dug deep ravines over the centuries, perfect for this potentially dangerous activity. It is not an individual sport, but a group one. The amount of material needed for the descent and safety issues recommend avoiding groups of fewer than 4 people. Preferred qualities are good resistance to prolonged efforts and good swimming and climbing skills.
