Structural configuration: in locality. Pellio Inferiore, along the ancient road that leads to the municipalities of Laino and Centro Valle Intelvi, stands the oratory of the Madonna del Garello, born from the seventeenth-century transformation of a previous transversal Romanesque chapel, of which the apse is preserved. The interior has a wooden vault with exposed beams. The seventeenth-century renovation was possible thanks to the bequests of Simone Dario (pantifical dignitary) and Ercole Ferrata (sculptor) from Pelli. Inside it is possible to admire a sixteenth-century fresco and a beautiful scagliola, the stuccos of the presbytery by Barberini are also noteworthy. Currently the oratory is the moral headquarters of APPACUVI and the latest restoration was carried out entirely at the expense of the association.
Construction period: post 1599 – ca. 1634
