Ancient Music Concert at the Civic Theatre of Castiglione d'Intelvi

 As part of the “Pomeriggio in Concerto” event, a special event dedicated to medieval music and historical instruments will be held on October 5, with an exhibition curated by Master luthier Marco Casiraghi and performances by Francesco Motta, Andrea Cusmano, Marco Casiraghi and Camilla Arri Anselmini.

As part of the “Pomeriggio in Concerto” review, an event dedicated to the discovery of ancient music will be held on October 5th. The Ancient Music Concert, this is the title, will see the participation of Francesco Motta, Andrea Cusmano, Marco Casiraghi and Camilla Arri Anselmini, who will play flutes, bombards and percussions.

The event will be enriched by the exhibition and explanation of historical instruments made by Master luthier Marco Casiraghi, who will accompany the public on a fascinating journey through the history of lutherie and medieval music.

The concert is organized by the Cultural Association Amici di Dizzasco e Muronico as part of the PNRR program “La cultura cheaccoglienza, Borghi comacini in rete” and will offer a musical journey through the pieces of ancient European codices from the 12th to the 16th century, offering a rare opportunity to experience the art of violin making live. A true “medieval mosaic”, to discover the charm of ancient music and immerse yourself in a distant era.
