Built at the beginning of the 20th century by soldiers who were carrying out the military works of the "Advanced Occupation of the Northern Frontier" in place of the previous "Madonna di Tassino" already mentioned on the "Teresian" maps of the early 18th century. Located along the road to reach Mount Caslè, from here, a suggestive panorama of Lake Ceresio opens up. In front you can admire Valsolda and the peaks of the Swiss mountains called "Denti della Vecchia"; on the right is Porlezza with the Val di Rezzo and the small lake of Piano.
