The Museum of Stucco and Scagliola Intelvese in Cerano d'Intelvi (Como), set up in a wing (1608) of the Perlasca-Pinchetti Palace (16th century), now owned by Spalla-Gandola, was established in 1989, after the experiences of Don Nicola Cetti and of Scagliola Intelvese Regional School of Ossuccio.
The Spalla-Gandola collections of stucco and scagliole are preserved in the Museum, which constitute evidence of the well-known artistic tradition of Intelvese.
This is the only museum on the specific sector, known both in Italy and abroad, and which maintains, collects and disseminates studies on stucco and scagliola.
