'Interactive' exhibition whose topic/title is “The first woman who…”: it tells stories of women who undertook journeys in different ways and to different destinations and who were able to demonstrate determination, courage and sensitivity. In different eras and social contexts, they have tried to break down gender prejudices and indicate new paths and new models to subsequent generations.
It is a page of history that is still little known today: reading their exploits allows us to share their experiences and grasp the meaning of the goals achieved.
The exhibition also offers a short interactive journey in which the visitor will be invited to solve 'quizzes' and in which he will be able to better understand the conditions in which these journeys took place and the means used to carry them out.
The exhibition was created by the "Creazione donne" Association of Cormano (Milan) and was presented in this municipality in September 2023, obtaining positive acclaim and large public participation.
Believing that these initiatives have a significant educational and training value, teachers and students are also invited to participate both in the show on 9 March at 5pm at the Castiglione theater and in the inauguration of the exhibition which will be held on Saturday 16 March at the Council Room of the Municipality of Dizzasco at 5.00 pm or to view it the following week at a dedicated time with a specific guide.
