The exhibition will open on Saturday 26 July at the Museum of Sacred Art in Scaria The Museum on Display. Photographs from the Cavadini Collection. which illustrates the history of the museum in its most significant stages.
Through a wide selection of images from the Cavadini Collection, donated in 2005-2006 to the Historical Archives of the Diocese of Como by Renata Rosson Cavadini, the intentions, desires, and actions of those who tenaciously supported the creation of this institution will be recalled.
A special focus will therefore be on Don Fernando Cavadini, a passionate parish priest and a driving force of faith and culture who championed the sentiment of attachment and love for local heritage, involving the "Magistri Intelvi" cultural association in the creation of a museum in Scaria.
The museum we see today is therefore the fruit of an important history, intertwined with human relationships, cultural, religious, and social issues, and, last but not least, a genuine love of art.
The initiative is part of the almost ten-year program of summer exhibitions organized at the Museum of Sacred Art of Scaria fromOffice of Artistic Heritage of the Diocese of Como in collaboration with theAssociation of Friends of the Museum of Sacred Art of Scaria.
