The artist Gianni Incontri was born in 1935 in Suzzara (Mantua) but for many years he has lived in Novate Milanese where he continues to experiment with his art in his studio.

For years he has expressed himself using the dripping technique, a technique closely linked to abstract expressionism, an American artistic movement born after the Second World War, also called "action painting" which literally means action painting. When you think of Gianni Incontri you immediately imagine colorful spots, bright colors and (apparently) chaotic designs. His is a real style that consists of letting the color flow in a natural and spontaneous way onto the support that receives it, without following a precise rule but expressing movement, energy and internal forces of the world of the unconscious. He has participated in numerous personal and collective exhibitions, receiving several awards, the latest in 2023 as "best artist" at the 43rd "Cantun Sciatin" in Bollate.
