A small village rich in history, landscape and so much culture which its community has been able to take advantage of. Along the streets and in the points of artistic and cultural interest there are educational panels which tell the story of these places and their inhabitants. Moreover, like with the rest of the Valle Intelvi, where in the past each town had a symbol (often an animal) which represented its people, the "cats of Pigra" still hark back this event (as do the "Donkeys of Dizzasco "). Every year there is a photo contest with the subject of the CAT, the symbol of the town!

Pigra also offers amazing views of Lake Como which, thanks to its cable car, can be reached in just a few minutes!
