Rocco and Giovanni Battista, imitating the motifs popularized by GB Barberini. The presbytery, preceded by a balustrade, has a grandiose altar with twisted columns and stuccos, complete with &quot;sky&quot; and stuccos of the Annunciation, and the altarpiece of the Immaculate Conception by Carlo Carloni; on the left the early seventeenth century altarpiece (Madonna with Child and Saint Catherine of Alexandria); on the right a &quot;dark&quot; Santa Liberata dating back to the end of the seventeenth century; on the vault we find repainted stuccos and frescoes.<\/p><p>Stucco work from 1747 and balustrade also in the chapel on the right, while the counter-fa\u00e7ade retains the nineteenth-century frieze.<\/p><p>(news taken from: GUIDES OF THE PROVINCE OF COMO, FROM CERNOBBIO TO VALLE INTELVI ed.
