The small church has medieval origins but underwent numerous renovations. The current building, consecrated in 1532, consists of two naves and a polygonal presbytery, has a gabled fa\u00e7ade with the entrance corresponding to the main nave (the other begins after the volume of the bell tower). The bell tower has a stringcourse below the belfry and a plastered wall. Finally, the left side of the building houses a small sacristy. the main fa\u00e7ade is the only one plastered and painted, with a plinth. Inside, the naves are separated by two arches on pillars and on the left of the entrance the niche of the old baptistery created in the bell tower wall is still visible; still on the left, on the wall you can see a sixteenth-century fresco depicting "the mystical wedding of Saint Catherine of Alexandria and Saint Nicholas" coming from a gallery of the Noli house. The polygonal presbytery houses an evocative small temple in Carrara marble, a prism with a hexagonal base on which the evangelists are represented in bas-relief while the main face bears the door on which the "Resurrection" is painted.
