Located in the hamlet of Auvrascio, the complex of Santa Maria Assunta includes, in addition to the church, the parish house built in adherence to the southern elevation, the plastered and painted bell tower on the northern elevation, the cemetery and the Via Crucis. Inside, the space is divided into three naves and a square presbytery from which, once upon a time, the bell tower was accessed. Behind the presbytery is the ancient chapel of the brothers which has now become a sacristy. The church preserves interesting examples of Lombard art: the scagliola frontal, the wooden statue of the Assumption and the canvas depicting the "Virgin of the Rosary" by Pietro Ferrabosco are certainly worth mentioning. The fa\u00e7ade, plastered and painted, is finely decorated and has a stone plinth and portals. Magnificent view of Lake Como from the east elevation. In front of the church there are the chapels of the Via Crucis made of plastered and painted masonry and connected to each other by exposed stone ashlar walls. Construction period<\/strong>: sec.
