Centro Valle Intelvi will have its own exhibition of games and toys. The permanent exhibition Games and Toys by Gianni Marangoni was inaugurated yesterday in the municipal space of Castiglione d'Intelvi, in Via Roma 40, in the area adjacent to the bowling greens, two floors dedicated to the fantastic world of toys from the 1930s to the 1960s. The project was made possible thanks to a donation from the Marangoni family, who has granted on loan for the next five years (renewable) unique pieces that hide the history and tell the childhood of generations of children.<\/p>

\u201cAs a child I spent entire days playing with a tin train: we were inseparable companions. \u2013 explains Gianni Marangoni \u2013 It was one of my parents\u2019 Christmas gifts. It was next to me during trips, while I did my homework and at night it watched over me from my bedside table. What wonderful memories. I am convinced that each of us has had a favorite toy: dolls, toy soldiers or toy trains have kept us company, made us dream and feel excited\u201d.<\/p>

Present at the inauguration yesterday were, in addition to the Mayor Mario Pozzi, the Councilor with responsibility for Education Lucia Surdo, the municipal councilors Erica Nicol\u00f2, with responsibility for tourism and Lisa Pedrazzoli, as well as the Deputy Mayor of Castiglione d'Intelvi, Claudio Prada with responsibility for sport.<\/p>

"Toys are elements that unite and make you dream. In front of any object, children's eyes and emotions are the same and I had proof of this by admiring the children who participated in the visit. - concludes the Mayor of Centro Valle Intelvi, Mario Pozzi - All with their eyes wide open on the toy soldiers, the airplanes and the tin cars.
