Gisella Abbate was born in Milan in 1979, lives and works in the city, where she attended the Caravaggio Art School and the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. Since 2000 he has dedicated himself to oil painting and artistic photography, after a journey in which he experimented with different artistic forms such as sculpture, engraving, theatrical performance, modeling and fashion styling, small and large fired ceramics. Deeply influenced by artistic anatomy and the theme of the revaluation of women, she creates works inspired by genetic and evolutionary details of everything that exists in nature, to which she adds suggestions deriving from long literary and psychic reflections of her critical thinking on the current world, through anamorphic deformations. From this comes a refined and disconcerting work which is a multi-sensory journey through the fragment. The artist has participated in numerous exhibitions in Italy, Europe and America, receiving awards and special mentions.
