Structural configuration: in the PellioInferiore township, along the ancient road that leads to the municipalities of Laino and Centro Valle Intelvi, stands the oratory of the Madonna del Garello, born from the 17th-century transformation of a previous transversal Romanesque chapel, whose apse has been kept. The interior has a wooden vault with exposed beams. The 17th-century restructuring was possible thanks to the bequests of the Simone Dario Pelliesi (papal dignitary) and Ercole Ferrata (sculptor). Inside you can admire a 16th-century fresco and a beautiful scagliola, the stuccos of the Barberini presbytery are also remarkable. Currently the oratory is the moral seat of the APPACUVI and the last restoration was entirely carried out at the expense of the association.
Period of construction: post 1599 – c.a. 1634
